How Every Job Works

Every job runs the same way, whether it is a single repair or a full replacement:

1. First call

   We ask what you're seeing

   Where the water shows up, how old the roof is, whether it's getting worse. If water is coming in now, the call becomes an emergency visit.

2. On the roof

   Inspection with photos

   We go up, and into the attic where we can, and photograph every problem so you see what we see.

3. Before any work

   A written estimate

   Repair and replacement priced separately when both are reasonable, with the materials named.

4. Work day

   The job, then a walkthrough

   Yard protected, work done, nails swept, and photos of the finished roof.

Roofing Materials We Install

What goes on your roof depends on its pitch, the look of the house and how long you plan to stay. These are the systems we install; the estimate names the exact product line.

• Asphalt shingles

  The most common roof on New Jersey homes: solid weather protection for the money, in a wide range of colours and styles to suit the house.

• Architectural shingles

  Heavier, dimensional shingles with more depth than flat 3-tab. They resist wind better and usually carry longer manufacturer warranties.

• Low-slope roofing

  TPO, EPDM and modified bitumen for porch roofs, rear additions and commercial flat roofs, where shingles do not have enough pitch to shed water.
